Industrial design meets tradition

Old flair reinvented

Turm Leiben is a centuries-old fortified tower from the Middle Ages and has approx. 180m2 on 5 floors.

These are divided into the cellar and first basement floor which is where the "Gewölbe" flat is located, as well as the ground floor, first floor and attic where the "Warte" flat is found. You can rent the tower as a whole or one of the two flats as an individual holiday flat.

During the renovation, we attached great importance to preserving the character of the rooms, the stonework and origins of the building.

The holiday flats were furnished with furniture from the old stock as well as with modern, selected pieces from the interior decorators Lorenz Wachau.

8000m² garden is for communal use and has fruit trees and shrubs.

A view of the region's forests

Flat "Warte" (1st Floor)

The larger of the two tower flats, which extends over three floors, Flat Warte is the centrepiece of the Turm Leiben Apartments. The holiday flat offers two rooms with a double bed (180x200), each with its own bathroom and WC.

The spacious kitchen is located on the ground floor and is equipped with an induction hob with teppanyaki grill plate, oven and steam cooker as well as all kitchen utensils and crockery. The dining area, with a large wooden table, offers space for up to 10 people to enjoy a cosy evening meal together. There is also another separate WC on the ground floor.

On the top floor, the so-called "Warte" or "Aussichtswarte", you have a wonderful view over the landscape and our garden, and is a place you can make yourself particularly cosy. Read a book by the open fire on cold winter days or relax on one of the two sofas in front of the flatscreen (smart TV) and unwind. Wifi is available throughout the apartment.

The two sofas have a pull-out bed (140x200) and offer 2 additional sleeping places. This means that 6 guests can be accommodated in the "Warte" flat.

Cosy ambience with historical charm

Flat "Gewölbe" (Top 2)

Flat “Gewölbe” is located on the lower two floors and is particularly impressive with its historic vaulted ceiling. In some places, the inscriptions on the wall from days gone by have been highlighted.

This flat has a room with a double bed (180x200) in the former dungeon of the tower and the visibility of the old stone wall has been preserved and restored. There is also a bathroom with shower and separate WC.

The small kitchen with dining table for 4 people offers all the necessary amenities. An induction hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine.

The spacious living room with comfortable couch, including pull-out bed for 2 additional sleeping places, offers enough space for socialising. The open fireplace creates a cosy and warm ambience. There is a flatscreen TV (smart TV with internet) in the living room.

Wifi is available throughout the apartment.

Therefor you can purchase our sausages (Bratwurst) and enjoy them right from the grill on the terrace.
Best with some mustard or a spicey BBQ-sauce.

If you unpack in your room and you realise that you have forgot your toothbrush or some tooth paste. That will be no issue

Ancient tilting yard with orchard and small forest

Our Garden

Turm Leiben stands on a plot of almost 8000 m2 with meadows, fruit trees and a small forest. The large meadow offers enough space for outdoor games or as a room for parties and celebrations. The small garden on the forecourt offers the ideal place for sunbathing on warm summer afternoons. New fruit trees and shrubs were planted during the renovation in 2023. Once they bear fruit, they will be available for our guests to enjoy.

Each flat has its own patio area in the garden for undisturbed use with a small barbecue station and garden furniture.

The ripe fruit from our fruit trees is intended for our guests to enjoy. If several guests are staying at the same time, we ask that you show consideration and only use the communal areas or the equipment belonging to your own flat.
